IMG_0325After two months of doctor visits and failed attempts to diagnose leg aches, Riley Children's Hospital determined our ten-year-old son, Christopher had contracted the rare infection endocarditis. We were informed on a Friday that he needed open heart surgery the following Tuesday to replace both heart valves and his aorta. Two days after returning home from open heart, Christopher collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. We learned that he had a brain aneurysm as a result of the infection that damaged his heart and that he needed immediate brain surgery. He survived his second of two day-long surgeries as well as a stroke he suffered on the operating table. God has restored him fully and we celebrate the many miracles associated with his treatment and healing.

Please feel welcome to read his story on Caring Bridge here or watch a brief video highlighting this amazing miracle from God.
